24U Phone Companion ties FileMaker Pro to your PBX to give your database solution a full control over your phone.

How it works:

24U Phone Companion allows FileMaker solutions to interact directly with supported PBX (telephone switches). This plug-in allows you (your solution) to do all the following things without even touching your phone:

• Dial a phone number from your phone
• Accept an incoming phone call
• Hang up a call in progress
• Run a script when an incoming call is transfered to your phone
• Instantly lookup the caller's record in your contacts database
• Run a script when a call is accepted/missed/hang up
• Check the current status of your phone line

24U Phone Companion uses 24U Phone Companion Server (ilink TeamCall Lite) as its middleware to talk to your PBX. Thanks to TeamCall Lite, many popular PBX brands are supported by 24U Phone Companion.

Licensing:

You can download this product and try it out for free for 14 days with up to 3 telephone lines. If you need more time or telephone lines for your evaluation, please contact us.

To implement this product into a working solution you need at least one PBX license and one user license. 24U Phone Companion comes with a middleware ilink TeamCall Lite by default. If you already have a full version of the ilink TeamCall middleware, you can get just Phone Companion (w/o TeamCall) for a special upgrade price.

Note that if you have ShoreTel IP Phone System, you will need a special version of TeamCall Server (the middleware used by Phone Companion) which you will get from us upon request. When you are ready to purchase your license make sure to get Phone Companion with TeamCall. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Upgrade from TeamCall Lite to the full version of TeamCall is available from ilink.
