What's new in 24U SimpleFile Plug-In 3.0
The version 3.0 brings support for running applications from the solution, compressing files, and enhances the file selection dialogs.
The following improvements have been introduced:
- Support for 64-bit FM Server was added
- Compatibility with IWP and WebDirect was greatly improved
- SFile_Get timestamps precision improved
The following new features have been introduced with the release of the version 3.0 of 24U SimpleFile Plug-In:
- File/folder selecting dialog has more options
- SFile_Open now enables to select what application will open the file
- New function SFile_Reveal opens the file in enclosing folder
- SFile_Run can run any application with user given arguments
- Functions for compressing and decompressing files and folders added
The following issues have been solved:
- Fixed wrong return values in case of an error
- Removed Exif rotation height and width mismatch
- Few RTF writing issues resolved
- Improved support for reading binary files using SFile_Read function
- Fixed registration issue on Windows 10
- Fixed interoperability between SFile_Write with "base64" encoding and FileMaker Base64Encode function
